Bruce Moore has been taking pictures and flying since 1967, and holds an Airline
Transport Rating (single and multi-engine airplane), Commercial
(glider and seaplane), Certified Flight Instructor (single and
multi-engine airplane, glider and instrument) and has a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Aeronautical Science. Bruce has been a corporate
pilot, chief pilot of a Pt. 141 flight school, glider flight
instructor, production test pilot and aerobatic flight instructor.
Since 1992 Bruce has been Owner, Chief Pilot and Director of
Training for North American TopGun, a flight school that operates
T-6 Texans. Bruce has worked with Jim Koepnick, head of EAA Photo,
since 1991 and is Co-Chairman of EAA's Photo Pilot Department.
During Oshkosh AirVenture and Sun 'n Fun conventions Bruce directs
EAA’s air-to-air photo operations. Bruce also provides aviation
photo services (photo pilot and photographer) through Photo-One and
his work has been on the covers of the various aviation magazines
including EAA publications, Flying, AOPA Pilot, Plane & Pilot and
Private Pilot.
Jim Koepnick has been chief photographer at the Experimental Aircraft Association in Oshkosh, WI for the last 26 years. Jim is responsible for the major photography in EAA's 5 major publications as well as in their ads and brochures. Over the last 24 years, Jim has shot over 400 covers for EAA. He has also had images printed in over 100 outside magazines, including Air and Space Smithsonian, Flying, Men's Journal, Mechanics Illustrated, Forbes, Time, Life and Flight Journal, to name a few Partnered with Bruce Moore for the last 20 years, Jim has flown over 1,000 air to air missions for EAA. |
